Edelbrock part #2965 Victor 460 intake manifold is tailored for Ford 429/460 competition engines utilizing Cobra-Jet cast iron, SVO Cobra-Jet aluminum (M-6049-A429), or the Edelbrock 460 CJ aluminum heads. Specifically designed for drag racing applications (Super Stock, Super Gas, Super Comp, Brackets, etc.) and marine use, this intake manifold is engineered to deliver maximum power up to 8000 rpm. For standard 429/460 cast iron heads, port matching is required to fit the manifold. If hood clearance is not a concern, the 1" Cloverleaf Spacer #8718 is recommended for optimal performance with #2965. The port exit size at the head is 1.88" x 2.16", and there is sufficient extra material to allow for enlargement to fit the cast iron Cobra-Jet heads. Please note that it will not fit 1988 and later models.
