Designed to accommodate 24mm diameter sway bars, the DIY (Do It Yourself) alloy lateral locking system is suitable for use with both factory and, more importantly, aftermarket sway bars. These locks can be easily installed on the car without the necessity of removing the sway bar. They are positioned directly adjacent to the sway bar mounting points and serve to prevent any shifting or lateral movement of the sway bar when subjected to lateral (cornering) forces. This, in turn, enhances the effectiveness of the sway bar while also preventing any interference or contact between the sway bar and nearby chassis or steering components.
