The straightforward snap-in housing makes use of the factory lower air box for a hassle-free installation process. A 3-angle adapter is applied to enhance air flow after the air filter, resulting in improved performance and throttle response. This combination results in a substantial gain of 18 maximum horsepower and 23 lbs. x ft. of torque, while also outperforming the factory intake by 27%.
5-1/2 Inch Conical Air Filter: This intake incorporates a generously sized 5-1/2 inch conical Pro DRY S performance air filter, ensuring maximum airflow. The air filter utilizes a 3-layer progressive design and is made from non-synthetic materials for maximum convenience.
Top Mounted Heat Shield Design: aFe has designed a top-mounted heat shield that easily attaches to the upper part of the factory air box. This design simplifies the installation process and utilizes the existing factory mounting locations.
3-Angle Adapter: To enhance performance and throttle response, a 3-angle adapter is used to accelerate air flow after it passes through the air filter.
Hassle-Free Installation: This intake system replaces the factory intake box and incorporates the factory inlet tube. All the necessary hardware and components are included for a straightforward installation.
